Makena Fong is from Sunnyvale and a junior attending San Diego State University. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Media Studies along with a minor in Business Marketing. Makena is also involved with student organizations such as Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed service fraternity, and the American Marketing Association. When she isn’t volunteering over the weekend or studying for her classes, she enjoys browsing recent social media trends, playing video games and watching her favorite TV show, How I Met Your Mother. In the future, Makena hopes to be working as a social media manager or a publicist in the esports or music industry.
